            As the job implies, an Admissions Coordinator/Marketer fosters the relationship between patients and the facilities providing their care. Admissions Coordinators establish patients' eligibility for care, communicating with families, and interacting with a wide range of staff members from case managers to families to physicians. A. TECHNICAL:  Establishes the patients eligibility for admission to the facility.  Reviews patients' medical records.  Explains care options to patients and their families.  Interacts with a variety of hospital staff.  Coordinates with the facility staff to ensure that each patient has a smooth transition from hospital/home to facility.  Schedules & attends community events.  Develops relationships in the community on behalf of the facility.  Works with the company marketing team to bring awareness of the facility's strengths and services.  Trains new employees who serve as Clinical Liaisons.  Builds relationships with contracted and non-contracted Managed Care companies on behalf of PHC.  Researches expanding our managed care providers.
